Rick Ross has done well for himself since he first entered the mainstream Hip Hop game in 2006 with Hustlin’. But what’s really intrigued me is the “Boss” mentality that he’s taken in forming his Maybach Music Group.
Ross recently claimed on 106 and Park the each of his artist represent different cities. Wale is holding down DC and the DMV area, Meek Millz representing Philly, and the weakest of the MMG line up Pill is from Atlanta. Geographically MMG has covered the entire East Coast. It’s like he’s strategically planned this from the beginning, making friends with Jay-Z and Diddy. If you have their support there’s not much you can’t do in this industry were they are the Tyrannts. Then signing the best artist from their respective city…not a bad move.
Now did you know there was MMG Latino? Yeah this Brother Ross is serious about a takeover. His energy and thirst is only making Hip Hop Better.
Bottom Line: Rick Ross has gone from the Pinewood, to the Superstar, to the Pat Riley. Maybach Music Group is here to stay.
George Mason students celebrate both on campus and at the White House the death of Osama Bin Laden.
This video clearily reflects the stereotype of Americans. How can we celebrate the death of another? Students were in pick up trucks driving around with the American Flag haning out their window screaming. It’s rather barbaric of us to act like that, little do we know this might actually be the beginning.

The Freshmen 15
In high school alumni would always comeback and visit and the first thing you noticed is that they would have gained a few extra pounds. Of course it’s not your place to ask about the sudden weight gain, but could help not to wonder, “What Happen?”
It’s actually fairly simple. College students have longer days and shorter night. Instead of being in bed by 11:30 p.m. like in high school you instead would stay up until 2:00 a.m. In college schedule aren’t as detailed as in high school. For example you might not have class until noon then again at 7:15 p.m. So it’s not hard to sleep in and skip breakfast. College campuses are home to all night dinners and fast food restaurants for the fast pace environment.
College students tend to feel they are invincible, but the Freshmen 15 has proved that weight can affect not only the mind, but body and soul. My father often times reminds me that what you do now will effect your future. I agree and start with our stance on what we eat might catch up with us post graduation.
Superficial?
Since my inception in college I’ve learned quite a few things about myself and people. I’ve grown as a man, but my biggest growth has come in observing other people. No..No..No, not with a telescope but simply listening when people talk or watching how their body languages change when they interact with other people.
I’ll specifically comment on how Greeks and athletes are received. It seems everyone comes to school looking to make a name for them. Most of the most influential people on campus are in Greek letter organizations and athletes and students want to be like or in their company. It flusters me to watch men try and hangout with Greek in hopes that they would too. From an athletic perspective students and the university hold them to a high standard because one they financially keep the university afloat but also are automatic campus figures because of numerous TV appearances.
What I’ve witnessed as a male is that women want to be surrounded by the “in group.” It’s amazing to see a young man who was just a regular student and then become Greek and see the number of girls that instantly become attracted now that they have a little clout. It makes me question how real we are as human beings. So I ask, are you superficial?
Science Behind a Twerk
Parties in college tend to consist of drunken men and women looking to have a goodtime. Some might question, what exactly is a twerk? Well a “twerk” is when a woman arches her back and moves her hinny in a man’s groin area to the beat of the music being played.
So where is the science? When faster faster music is playing it’s actually more friendly and a workout out, but when slow jamz our played that when the magic happens.
Slow Jamz are usually songs about sex, slow jamz are played at the end of most parties basically giving you a chance to find that man or woman you are attracted to and dance with them. The art of the twerk consist of interpersonal communication. They only things present is you and her in a dark room. It’s basically the closest you’ll get to that person without having your clothes off.
If both parties can move to the same beat and send messages with hands or whispers you have completed a successful twerk.
Weather and Hormones
It’s crazy how much the weather can affect you mood. When it’s raining outside, you want to stay in bed and when it’s warm out you’re looking for something to do. In college we have the ability to do both as often as we want. However, there’s another way the weather effects our moods specifically sexuality.
In conversation with my friends we’ve come to the conclusion that when it’s cold you want to “cuff up” and when it’s warm you want to be on the “prowl.” Let me break it down. “Cuffing Up” is when you find a male or female you can cuddle with, have sexual relations with, and do homework. The cold weather tends to restrict going out and socializing.
When Spring comes around students become sprung…literally. The warmer weather means less clothes, more legs, and cleavage. It’s only natural to look and admire the silhouette of a voluminous woman. That tendency draws our attention away from the “cuff up partner” and more on others who seem to want the attention.
If you’re unfamiliar with this theory. Don’t think about it, notice you energy levels pick up when an attractive female or male passes you by.
